Jeggings

Jeans+Leggings=Jeggings

Every time I go shopping, I can never find the ideal pair of skinny jeans, because there is always something that throws me off. Most of the time, they are too wide at the ankle, as the smallest ones have a 12 inch opening. All in all, the skinny jeans were never "skinny" enough. Till now, I had to make do with what I had. When I was really desperate, I also used double tape to make sure it "stuck" to my ankle.

But then, one magical day, I walked into a shop and I found these new kind of skinny jeans. It was like somebody was reading my mind. Basically, they were leggings made of denim. So I ran to try them on, and "Voila" they fit and felt like second skin. It hugs all the right curves, and instantly made my legs look more toned, making them look fabulous. I had Gisele's legs only with a pair of Jeggings.

I suggest that you buy at least, one in grey, black, and blue. But don't only stop there.

I am obsessed, I wear mine with everything. Every time I wear them, I feel like Cinderella, if she ever wore jeans, that is.
You should too.

Jenny Humphrey

Just like all of you, I am a Gossip Girl addict too. It gives me my dose of fashion and drama for the week, and keeps me wanting more and more every single time, that I download it without missing a beat.
This is one show where every character has a distinct style of dressing, that complements their role. You can connect Blair Waldorf to bows and headbands, something that inspired designers such as Zac Posen to create a whole line, Blair Waldorf style, head bands and all. Serena Van Der Woodsen walks around wearing Matthew Williamson, defining hippie-chic, her hair teased to go with it. But nevertheless, the character who really caught my eye is Jenny Humphrey. She transformed from little-miss-goody-two-shoes in Season 1 to I-have-a-distinct-style-without-caring-what-people-think-of-me-and-I-am-going-to-continue-doing-my-thing. She went from Golden candy girl, to rocker chic. In fact, Jenny Humphrey A.K.A Taylor Momsen has her own rock band in real life, so it is no surprise that she dresses like being in one too. Moreover, when magazines asked her about why she changed her look on set she said that she just started dressing like herself, actually.

As a result, I decided to pick out pieces to help you incorporate her look in your everyday style.
